This is a four minute video by the US Navy that shares details about President Jimmy Carter's time at the US Naval Academy and military career dealing with nuclear reactors and submarines.
This film is about Admiral Hyman G. Rickover who was head of the development of the US Navy's nuclear fleet. President Carter served under Rickover. Carter is interviewed in the film multiple time and covers his interactions with Rickover while part of the submarine program and as President during Three Mile Island crisis.
Jimmy Carter did a lot to protect free flowing American Rivers while in serving as Governor of Georgia and President of the United States. He also enjoyed using them for recreation.
